AEW Collision notes: Statlander & Stokely vs. Ishii & Nightingale for All In Zero Hour, TBS Title Match set for Dynamite

Several notable matches were set during Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision.

During an in-ring interview that Lexy Nair conducted with Kris Statlander & Stokely Hathaway, a challenge for a mixed tag match with Willow Nightingale & Tomohiro Ishii was made.

Hathaway was reluctant but Statlander grabbed the microphone to accept the match. Later, a graphic to confirm the contest for the Zero Hour pre-show portion of All In at Wembley Stadium was shown.

Hikaru Shida said in a backstage segment that she needed tough competition on the road to Wembley and challenged Mercedes Moné for a TBS Championship match. Tony Khan soon made it official on social media for the next episode of Dynamite.

Elsewhere on the show, Nick Wayne informed Kip Sabian that they would have a match on the next episode of Dynamite.

Additionally, Claudio Castagnoli challenged Kazuchika Okada for the AEW Continental Championship on the August 21st episode of AEW Dynamite in Cardiff, Wales. The match was not made official before the conclusion of Collision.

Finally, The Acclaimed will challenge the AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks for the titles on this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
