Hiromu Takahashi issues challenge to Mustafa Ali for NJPW Capital Collision

The rematch from Windy City Riot.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling is returning to Washington, D.C. on August 30th for their Capital Collision show. The company pushed out a video on their social and digital channels from Hiromu Takahashi.

He called out former TNA X Division Champion Mustafa Ali. The two talents met one-on-one in Ali’s hometown of Chicago, Illinois at Windy City Riot and Ali scored the win.

With this match being added to the fray, the new lineup for Capital Collision is listed as follows: 

  • NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship: Gabe Kidd (c) vs. Lio Rush
  • Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Titán
  • Fred Rosser & Tom Lawlor vs. West Coast Wrecking Crew (Royce Isaacs & Jorel Nelson)
  • HANAKO vs. Trish Adora
  • NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. TBA
  • NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championships: T.M.D.K. (Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls) (c) vs. Hechicero & Virus
