NOAH N-1 Victory 2024: Two removed due to injury, updated standings

Pro Wrestling NOAH’s N-1 Victory tournament has completed five shows but lost two participants due to injury over the weekend.

The promotion has announced that Atsushi Kotoge and Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. will miss the remainder of the N-1 due to injuries

Kotoge is out with a neck injury
while the former GHC champion is suffering from a cervical sprain. Both will forfeit the remainder of their matches in the N-1 as Kotoge finishes with zero points in the A Block and Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. with two points in the B Block.

The fifth tournament card took place from Kawasaki on Monday and drew the highest attendance of the N-1 with 1,555 for a show featuring Yoshiki Inamura beating Manabu Soya in the main event.

The win placed Inamura into a four-way tie with Soya, Titus Alexander, and Tavion Heights, each with six points in the B Block. Kenoh is the leader of the block with eight points, who lost his first match of the N-1 to Tavion Heights on Monday.

In A Block action, Ryohei Oiwa scored a win against Jack Morris, Josh Briggs beat Masa Kitamiya, and GHC champion Kaito Kiyomiya earned two points by beating Dragon Bane.

The N-1 resumes this Saturday & Sunday with three more shows until the finals on September 1.
