AEW Collision returns to its regular time, ranks #15 among cable originals

AEW Collision returned to its regular start time this past Saturday while still being hurt airing against coverage of the Olympics.

The August 10 edition of Collision from Arlington averaged 370,000 viewers and 145,000 (0.11) in the 18-49 demographic, per Wrestlenomics.

It was Collision’s fifth lowest viewership of the year and smallest audience in its regular slot since July 13.

Last week, the show aired outside of its time with a 5 p.m. ET start, averaging 189,000 viewers and 0.08 in the demo.

Compared with two weeks ago, this week’s Collision fell by 3% in viewership and dropped by 9% in the core demographic.

The 18-49 demographic saw females decline from 110,000 two weeks ago to 94,000 this past Saturday while males had a small uptick from 49,000 to 51,000.

The major area of concern was the 18-34 demographic, which saw a 36% decline from the episode two weeks ago and averaged 23,000 viewers.

Adults 35-49 was consistent with an average of 122,000 viewers or a 2% decline from the July 27 episode.

Wrestlenomics reports that Collision ranked #15 among original cable programs on Saturday and aired against several NFL pre-season games, the UFC Fight Night card on ESPN, and the Olympics.

The show was headlined by the House of Black facing the Bang Bang Gang with Christian Cage as the special referee.
