While it’s been more than a decade since Barbie Blank (formerly known as Kelly Kelly) was a regular name on WWE programming, she’s not shutting the door on a potential return to the ring.
Blank joined the WWE roster in 2006 as part of ECW and quickly became one of the top names in the women’s division. She wrestled on the WWE roster until 2012, briefly capturing the Divas Championship along the way.
Blank hasn’t been a frequent name in the business for some time, but she also hasn’t been completely absent either. She notably has made three different Royal Rumble appearances since 2018 and wrestled at the promotion’s “Evolution” pay-per-view as well.
Blank recently mentioned her main motivation for a return would be allowing her twin children – whom she gave birth to last year – to see her perform live.
“I definitely don’t think I could do full-time, especially with the twins, and then I talk about wanting one more baby, so I don’t know,” she told WrestlingNewsCo. “But I would definitely come back part-time. My dream is for my twins to watch me in the ring one day. It was cool, I was sitting here, we were watching Summerslam, and the twins were watching it. They were like, eyes locked in, watching. I was like, ‘Oh my god, wait until they’re old enough to see their mom doing that and watching their mom.’ I’m just so excited for them to get old enough where they’ll really get it. But seeing how excited they were watching [SummerSlam], I was like, oh my gosh, this is cool.”
Blank mentioned her interest in working for Paul Levesque, who she noted was “great to work with in the past. “I would love to come back and work for him,” she said. “He’s awesome.”
