NXT returns to the USA Network (UPDATED: Correction on 18-49 audience)

CORRECTION: The 18-49 audience has been updated after originally being reported as 0.14 but updated figures list the shows as doing a 0.17. 

NXT returned to the USA Network and saw a jump in its viewership after two weeks of the Great American Bash.

The August 13 episode averaged 617,000 viewers and approximately 230,000 viewers (0.17) in the 18-49 demographic, per PW Torch & Wrestlenomics.

The overall viewership saw a 16% spike from last week’s show on Syfy while the 18-49 audience grew by 6.5% (It was originally reported as registering a 0.14 but was corrected to be 0.17)

The previous two episodes of NXT were themed as “Great American Bash” specials airing on Syfy with the last episode on the USA Network averaging 633,000 viewers and 0.19 in the 18-49 demo on July 23.

The show didn’t air on Sportsnet 360 in Canada until 11 p.m. ET and saw the audience fall to 42,900 viewers and 6,900 in the 25-54 demographic. Despite the big drop, NXT ranked seventh among sports programming on Wednesday.

Tuesday’s show featured three title matches including Nathan Frazer & Axiom vs. Chase U, Oba Femi vs. Otis, and Tony D’Angelo vs. Charlie Dempsey for the Heritage Cup.
