AEW Collision’s five-week residency at the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas, came to an end on Saturday, a little more than a week out from All In at Wembley Stadium.

Britt Baker def. Harley Cameron

With Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness on call, the show opened with Britt Baker’s theme as we went right into the action. Cameron got some decent offense in, but this ended in a decisive win with the Lockjaw for Baker ahead of her TBS Title match against Mercedes Moné at Wembley.

After the match, Kamille & Mercedes appeared. Kamille caught a kendo stick as Baker swung it, broke it over her knee, and went on the attack. Moné then entered the ring and placed her foot on a prone Baker.

ROH World Tag Team Titles: Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara def. The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) (c)

Taven & Bennett absorbed a great deal of high-paced offense from Guevara. The heels took some time to neutralize Guevara, who eventually got a hot tag to Rhodes. The Beast Mortos and Roderick Strong then came to ringside but they were taken care of by The Von Erichs. Things broke down even further as the Gates of Agony and the Conglomeration joined the ringside brawl. A couple of near-falls later and Guevara got the pin on Bennett for the title change.

Jericho promo

Chris Jericho cut a backstage promo on Tommy Billington, who he will face on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

Hologram def. Angelico

Hologram continued his swift rise with his high-flying, impactful and speedy offense. Angelico got in a good amount of heat before the crowd favorite continued his winning streak with a quick backslide pin.

Tiger Driver ’91 video package

A video showcasing a brief history of the Tiger Driver ’91 and Will Ospreay’s reluctance to use it was shown.

Jack Perry def. Danny Orion

A quick and easy victory over a local talent. After the match, Perry brought out some white spraypaint to make his defeated opponent resemble Darby Allin. He then put Orion in a “body bag” with the TNT Title and unveiled and new, darker version of the belt.

AEW Trios Titles — London Ladders Match

The Bang Bang Gang and The House of Black vowed to get even with Christian Cage. Chris Daniels then addressed the camera to announce that The Patriarchy will defend the AEW Trios Titles at All In against The Bang Bang Gang, The House of Black and a third team to be determined in a wild-card match.

Claudio Castagnoli def. Lio Rush

Castagnoli eventually got the best of Rush in a competitive match ahead of his challenge for the AEW Continental Title against Kazuchika Okada on Dynamite.

Statlander and Stokely speak

A confident Kris Statlander and a reluctant Stokely Hathaway talked up their mixed tag match with Willow Nightingale and Tomohiro Ishii at All In. The winners of the match at All In can choose a stipulation for Nightingale vs. Statlander in a singles match at All Out.

Eddie Kingston speaks

A bearded Eddie Kingston clarifies that he is not close to coming back. Instead, he wants to talk about Bryan Danielson, who he claims “doesn’t have the fire” any more.

AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator: FTR vs. The Acclaimed – 30 minute time limit draw

This was tremendous, and well worth checking out.

The main event had high stakes, with the winners going on to All In to challenge The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Dax Harwood and Anthony Bowens got things going in a pretty much 50:50 start to the match, before Max Caster and Cash Wheeler tagged in.

A highly competitive match followed, with the momentum swinging between the two teams.

This was a punishing and lengthy match for both teams, with all four competitors looking exhausted at the 30-minute conclusion. The crowd were on their feet for the final stretch.

As the show went off the air, Schiavone announced that Tony Khan had decreed that both teams will advance to face the Young Bucks at All In in a three-way match.

Kate from MTL & Wai Ting will go live with a full review of tonight’s show on Collision Course at 10.05 pm ET for POST Wrestling Café members. Patrons, check your email for the links to watch or call in.
