Kim states that the management have talked the talk and walked the walk.

It was in February 2024 that it was publicly announced that Scott D’Amore was terminated from his role as TNA President and would be replaced by Anthem executive Anthony Cicione.

A number of talents and those in behind the scenes roles at TNA have spoken about the shift in management. The latest to do so was producer and TNA Hall of Famer Gail Kim.

She was invited onto Gabby AF and heaped praise onto the new management. She said they’ve empowered her more than she’s ever been empowered before. Gail stated that they’ve followed up on their plans and they’ve given her the proverbial ball. She added that she feels respected and valued for the first time in a long time.

Ever since this year changed with this management change, I’m not gonna lie, this new management has empowered me so much like I’ve never been empowered before. I thought that I was making strides in wrestling, in the wrestling world. I’ve never felt as uplifted as I have this year. I mean, not only has this management talked the talk, they’ve walked the walk, just like I talked about with Jordynne (Grace). Not only do they say they want me to grow within this company, they’ve given me that ball to run with it and I’ve felt it and I’m doing it and I’ve never felt so much growth within the wrestling business so quickly as I have this year. It’s been incredible. I feel very respected and valued for the first time in a long time.

Scott D’Amore is spearheading the return of the Maple Leaf Wrestling promotion in Canada. The first show date is October 19th.
