AAA Triplemania Mexico City results and notes: titles change hands, former WWE talent feature

The third and final night of Triplemania XXXII took place at Mexico City Arena on Saturday night, featuring multiple title changes.

Alberto El Patron defeated Nic Nemeth with a low blow to become AAA Mega Heavyweight champion. Nemeth was accompanied to the ring by JBL.

After the match, El Patron revealed that he was ‘The Eye’, a mysterious figure who has been attacking AAA wrestlers backstage. He attacked Head of Talent Relations, Latin Lover, and was joined in the assault by Konnan and then AAA President Dorian Roldan.

Earlier in the show, Matt Riddle emerged the winner in a triple-threat match against Komander and Laredo Kid to hoist the AAA Cruiserweight Championship.

In another three-way match, Raj Dhesi (formerly Jinder Mahal) & AEW’s Satnam Singh defeated Negro Casas & Psycho Clown and Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeno del Mal to become AAA Tag Team Champions.

Dionisio Castellanos, the original Psicosis, also known as Nicho El Millonario, was inducted into the AAA Hall of Fame. Castellanos has had a three-decade career, wrestling for multiple promotions including WWE, WCW, and NJPW. As part of the celebration, his storied rival Rey Mysterio appeared via video to congratulate him.

The main event saw Psicosis II lose the Domo de la Muerte, a multi-man cage match where the last competitor left in the cage must lose his hair or mask.

The unmasked Psicosis was revealed to be Juan González Cruz, a 27-year veteran.
