LIJ to headline Shingo Takagi’s 20th Anniversary card

Shingo Takagi’s 20th Anniversary show is slated for next month with New Japan Pro Wrestling revealing the lineup.

Takagi, who debuted in 2004 after graduating from the Dragongate Dojo, will celebrate two decades as a professional wrestler with a show being staged in his home Prefecture of Yamanashi on September 7.

The card is set to be headlined by a six-man tag involving members of LIJ on both sides along with a mystery partner.

Tagaki will team with BUSHI and “X” against current IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Tetsuya Naito, Yota Tsuji & Hiromu Takahashi.

The show will include U.S. independent wrestler Jakob Austin Young, who wrestled for NJPW STRONG in 2022 & 2023, who teams with Great O-Khan against TMDK’s Zack Sabre Jr. & Kosei Fujita.

*Zack Sabre Jr. & Kosei Fujita vs. Great O-Khan & Jakob Austin Young
