AEW Collision scores largest audience since July 20, big increase in 18-34 demo

Saturday’s edition of AEW Collision saw a gigantic improvement in its 18-34 audience as the show achieved its largest audience over the past four weeks.

The August 17 edition of Collision – its final show from the Esports Stadium in Arlington- attracted an audience of 406,000 viewers with 175,000 (0.13) in the 18-49 demographic, as reported by Wrestlenomics.

It was the show’s strongest performance since July 20 and ranked #16 among cable originals on Saturday.

This week’s episode saw a 10% increase in its overall viewership and a 21% gain in the key demographic.

In the 18-49 demo, males experienced a 31% increase from last week while females in the demo were nearly identical with last week.

The major improvement occurred with the show’s 18-34 audience, which fell to 23,000 viewers last week and jumped to 60,000 this week, which was also its highest mark since July 20.

Adults 35-49 dropped by 6% due to a drop in female viewership from 40,000 to 24,000 this week.

The show aired against the NFL pre-season games and a UFC 305 prelims from Perth, Western Australia, which averaged 970,000 viewers and 0.42 in the demo and the early prelims averaged 803,000 and 0.33 from 7:21 p.m. ET until 8.

In Canada, the UFC 305 prelims averaged 84,000 viewers and 54,000 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360.

This week’s edition of Collision will be a taped episode from Cardiff, Wales, and airs the night before the All In pay-per-view.
