Raw ranked second among cable originals on Monday behind CNN’s coverage of the convention, which averaged 661,000 viewers in the demographic.

This past Monday’s episode was Raw’s lowest viewership (excluding the July 29 episode that aired on Syfy) since June 10 and its lowest audience in the 18-49 demographic (including the two episodes on Syfy) since the June 10 episode, which aired against the Stanley Cup Final on ABC.

Raw began with 1,748,000 viewers and 704,000 (0.53) in the 18-49 demographic in the first hour of the show.

In the second hour, the show dropped to 1,675,000 viewers and 659,000 (0.50) in the demo.

The final hour averaged 1,500,000 viewers and 615,000 (0.47) in the demo with the show headlined by Randy Orton defeating Ludwig Kaiser.

Wrestlenomics notes that the peak quarter occurred between 9 – 9:15 p.m. ET with CM Punk speaking in the ring and being confronted by Drew McIntyre and a backstage video with Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio. The quarter didn’t have any ad breaks and led to an audience of 1,820,000 viewers and 744,000 in the 18-49 demographic.

Raw ranked second among sports programming on Monday in Canada with 298,000 viewers and 107,800 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360. For the second week in a row, Raw was first in the demo and topped the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Cincinnati Reds.
