A singles match between Rousey and Lynch was pitched for Evolution 2.
As Ronda Rousey is making the media rounds, she spoke to D.S. Shin of Ring The Belle. Rousey revealed that WWE pitched the idea of a singles match between herself and Becky Lynch at WWE Evolution 2.
She shared that she was told if she stayed after WrestleMania 35, they’ll have another Evolution event six weeks later.
Rousey said she always intended on her run being WrestleMania to Survivor Series but Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque convinced her to go from WrestleMania to WrestleMania. She added that she told her family that-that would be it.
Rousey stated that because of a shattered knuckle, she would not have been able to do the proposed match. She hopes WWE brings the event back and does not think she’s needed for it.
