Mariah May captures AEW Women’s World Championship at All In

Toni Storm’s reign comes to an end.

The AEW Women’s World Championship match between Mariah May and ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm was the second match on the All In main card.

Rachael Ellering and newly crowned RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Champion Mina Shirakawa were shown on-screen watching the match.

As the bout went on, Mariah went to the ringside area and slapped her own mother across the face. The final sequence of their match saw Storm hesitate to use the shoe on Mariah and May went on to capitalize and captured the Women’s World Title in her home country.

Post-match, Storm received a standing ovation from the crowd. The commentary team alluded to Storm being so distraught at what just happened that she was not coming to grips that she lost the title and that’s why she was celebrating.
