Tony Khan says AEW Collision is an easier environment & locker room is in better place than it was a year ago

AEW’s President takes center stage at the scrum.

To wrap up the AEW All In media scrum/post-show, Tony Khan fielded questions from reporters in attendance. While responding to a question from POST Wrestling’s own Neal Flanagan, Khan mentioned that Jimmy Jacobs has the best attendance record of the backstage personnel. He added that Jacobs gets a lot of flack online and said Jimmy is not biased when it comes to ideas and wrestlers.

Continuing on, Khan began to speak about AEW Collision and thinks it’s a much easier environment than it was a year ago. Khan said the locker room is in a much better place and the meeting process is easier. Khan referenced what happened between CM Punk and Jack Perry at All In 2023.

Other highlights from Khan’s scrum session are listed below:

  • He spoke about the reactions that Big Bill received in the UK. He called Bill ‘super talented’ and said he’s with someone in Chris Jericho who’s smart.
  • On the topic of Daniel Garcia’s future, Khan does not want to speak about everyone’s contract status but thinks it’s a good sign that Garcia was a part of All In.
  • AEW received 1.275 million tax credits from Ohio and Khan said he’d like to do more in the state.
  • When asked about Nigel McGuinnness, Khan spoke highly of Nigel and added that he’ll continue to do commentary.
