Steveson was cut from the Bills.

As first reported by NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo, the Buffalo Bills are opting to waive Olympic Gold medalist and former WWE talent Gable Steveson. He did not make the Bills’ 53-man roster that’ll start the 2024-2025 NFL season.

Garafolo noted that Steveson could end up on a practice squad following being cut. He played his first game for the Bills in their preseason opener. Steveson played a total of 14 snaps and made one tackle.

He played in all three of the Bills’ preseason games and made a total of three tackles and two quarterback hits.

This past May, Steveson was released from WWE. He had been signed with the company for several years and wrestled in 17 matches.
