WWE Raw posts increase in U.S., fourth-largest audience of the year in Canada

WWE Raw received a boost on Monday as it finished first among all programming in the U.S. while also drawing a sizable audience in Canada.

The August 26 episode from Providence averaged 1,796,000 viewers and 739,000 viewers (0.56) in the 18-49 demographic and was first among all programming on Monday. (Programming Insider & Wrestlenomics)

The audience was up by 9% this week while the 18-49 audience grew by 12% over last week’s figures.

The show topped The Bachelorette on ABC (0.39), American Ninja Warrior on NBC (0.29), and The 1% Club on Fox (0.24).

The show averaged 1,848,000 viewers and 0.57 in the 18-49 demographic in the opening hour, which began with a Judgment Day segment and led to an eight-man tag involving the L.W.O.

The second hour increased to 1,889,000 viewers and 0.59 in the demo.

The final hour dropped to 1,652,000 viewers and 0.52 leading to the main event between Uncle Howdy and Chad Gable.

Raw drew its fourth-largest Canadian audience of the year on Monday with 356,300 viewers and 121,600 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360. It ranked third among sports programs on Monday behind a doubleheader for the Toronto Blue Jays, although topped the afternoon game to rank second in the demo.
