Kevin Kelly claims AEW gave him severance package but took it back because he didn’t sign ‘some form’

Kelly further speaks about his exit from AEW.

In early June, Kevin Kelly spoke in-depth about why he was let go from All Elite Wrestling. He opened up about his issues with fellow commentator Ian Riccaboni among several other talking points.

Kelly touched on his departure again when he guest appeared on Refin’ It Up. He claims the company gave him a severance package but later took it back because he did not sign a form.

And of course, they fired me and it was real just sh*tty and picky. They gave me a… what do you call it? A little severance package. Very little. Then they took it back. They put it into my account and then a couple of days later, they took it back, because I didn’t sign some form or something like that. So, it’ll all come out eventually, and when the time is right, I can say, okay, here’s all the things that happened: A, B, C, D and E. Here’s times that it happened and here’s the reason why we’re doing what we’re doing.

Kelly started out his stint in AEW as the lead commentator for Collision. The last show he called was the March 2nd program alongside Tony Schiavone, Nigel McGuinness and ‘Daddy Magic’ Matt Menard.

He added in a separate media appearance that he would be taking legal action against AEW.
