The idea of an RVD-Riddle tag run.
Going into WrestleMania 37, talents appeared on WWE’s digital platforms and shows such as The Bump to hype up the show and their respective matches.
Before Matt Riddle put the WWE United States Championship on the line against Sheamus, he appeared on the aforementioned program. As the conversation went on, he was surprised by Rob Van Dam, who had been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame that month.
The New York Post rolled out a new interview with Riddle and he touched on the idea of a tag run with Van Dam. He thinks what he did for Randy Orton, he could kind of do for RVD.
I think kind of what I did for Randy (Orton), I could kind of do for Rob (Van Dam). If he wanted to, we could probably have a crazy run as a tag team.
Riddle is scheduled to be in action at MLW Summer of the Beasts on 8/29. He’ll be going one-on-one with Matthew Justice.
