Kaito Kiyomiya made history on Sunday, becoming the first reigning GHC Heavyweight Champion to win the N-1 Victory Tournament.

The 28-year-old won the A Block of this year’s Pro Wrestling NOAH summer tournament. He accepted a challenge from the B Block winner, Kenoh, to put his title on the line in the final.

Also on the line in the ‘winner takes all’ match was leadership of the All Rebellion faction within NOAH.

Kiyomiya scored four wins, one loss and two draws to win the A Block with 10 points. KENOH won the B Block with five wins, one loss and one draw for a total of 11 points.

Elsewhere on the card from the Edion Arena in Osaka, titles changed hands in the junior heavyweight division. Daga defeated AMAKUSA to win the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship. YO-HEY & HAYATA got the better of Shuji Kondo & Eita to take their GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships.

There was success for Naomichi Marufuji  & Takashi Sugiura as they successfully defended their GHC Tag Team Championships against Akitoshi Saito & Mohammed Yone.

NXT’s Josh Briggs and Tavion Heights ended their excursion to NOAH with wins in their respective matches.
