Ricky Starks spoke out on Sunday to deny turning down AEW creative pitches.

Starks chimed in on an exchange on X. One user claimed: “The fact that his attitude when given the smaller opportunities was to pout and disagree with creative is the main reason why he didn’t get bigger shots.”

At this stage, Starks quoted the above post, stating: “Enough is enough. Usually I don’t even speak on this but it’s tired. I never turned down anything, EVER. Just Stop.”

Starks has not appeared on AEW television for several months. His last match was on the March 30th episode of AEW Collision. He and Big Bill lost out to Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin) in the AEW Tag Team Title tournament. The titles were vacant at that time after Sting retired as champion with Darby Allin.
