JoJo touches on a number of subjects.

For over five years, JoJo Offerman was a ring announcer for WWE. She started her career in the company as an in-ring performer and then transitioned to the announcer role. She exited WWE in 2021, but would go back to being at events as her significant other, the late Windham Rotunda a.k.a. Bray Wyatt, returned to the company.

Present-day, Windham’s brother Taylor a.k.a. Bo Dallas is heading up the Wyatt Sicks faction that consists of Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan and Joe Gacy. JoJo was asked for her thoughts about the group as she was doing a virtual signing for Southern Wrestling Autographs. She stated that it’s bittersweet because it’s a trigger for her. She’ll reach out to WWE’s Liv Morgan or Samantha Irvin to find out if The Wyatt Sicks will be on the show so he can avoid social media.

When their debut happened, she heard Windham’s ‘Shatter’ theme song and began crying in addition to having a panic attack. Despite that, she loves the group and that Bo has the opportunity to carry on his brother’s legacy. JoJo stated that Windham would have wanted his family to succeed. She has been in contact with fellow Wyatt Sicks members and supports them.

Offerman went on to share that Windham would ask for her opinion about things, especially theme music. She revealed that Jami from Code Orange, that created ‘Shatter,’ reached out to her to see if she was okay with The Wyatt Sicks using the song. Offerman added that her and Windham’s children have seen the group.

Yes, of course (I like what WWE is doing with Wyatt Sicks). So it’s like a very bittersweet thing for me. So, I love it for multiple reasons. I love it for the fact that his (Windham Rotunda’s) legacy is still strong and he’s out there. His spirit is out there through his brother and I love it for Taylor (Rotunda), or Bo (Dallas) because, (if) Windham wanted anything in the world, it’d be for his family to succeed, for his brother to succeed so, I’m very happy that Bo has that opportunity to kind of carry on his legacy but it’s really hard a lot of the times because it’s like a trigger for me… and I’ve had to put my phone down and completely not watch it at points and that goes back to even Samantha (Irvin) or Liv (Morgan), I’d be like, ‘Hey, can you warn me if it’s something today, because I’ll stay off of social media’ because I remember his — the debut, I didn’t even know it was happening and his music hit and I straight-up could not stop crying all night. It was full-on panic attacks for me. So, I’ve had to kind of make it work in the best way that I can because I do support it and I’ve talked to a lot of them in the group and they’ve all said the same thing with that they just want to make it the best thing that they possibly could… So, I respect that. I love that they’re doing that and I love that, like I said, his legacy’s living on and his kids could see that. But, the part that’s the worst for me is personal and it’s me and I spent endless nights with him working on the song or working on the character and days and weeks and months and so much time, of my time went into it. I just helped with a lot of — he would turn to me when it came to creativity. If he had to choose between three things, he’s like, ‘What do you think would feel better?’ Like, ‘Oh, this is how I feel like this should go. What do you think?’ And it was just kind of my opinion… It was just like, ‘Hey babe, what do you think of this?’ So, especially when it came to the music though. It was like one of those things. Like, the second he heard it, he was like, ‘I need your feedback’ because he knew how in love with music I was and so, Jami from Code Orange reached out to me and he was very adamant on me being okay with the music being used again, and I said, ‘As long as you okay it, I’m okay with it’ so, it’s been a process.

They (Windham’s children) have (seen The Wyatt Sicks). They have. They have but they haven’t. I’ve allowed them the opportunity to watch it but sometimes they won’t. If they hear his music, they’ll be like, ‘Daddy’s music’ and I’m like, ‘Yeah, your uncle Tay Tay uses it now’ and so just little things like that. But, they know. They know Uncle Taylor’s in it. They know it. They ask. We went to a show recently and they were like, ‘Is Uncle Taylor here?’ And I was like, ‘No. Not today.’ But, then quickly, they went on to all their other uncles and aunties after Taylor (she laughed). So, you know, it worked out. So, yeah, they know. They’ve seen it. Little pieces.

Elsewhere during the signing, JoJo expressed that she’d love to get back into wrestling. She believes it’ll happen when the time is right. JoJo loves her life with her children, but if she were to return, she would want to explore the character aspect more than ring announcing.

It’s always in the back of mind that it’s something I want to do (return to wrestling). I strongly believe that when the time is right, when the moment is right, it’s something that hopefully I can get back to but, I’d say I miss it. I miss traveling, I miss the kind of family that you create when you’re there. But I also love my life with my kids. But… I would never say never. I’d love to get back to it and especially now, they’re old enough. They’re in a place where they’re going to school. So I’m trying to kind of find my own rhythm, my own kind of thing to do again. It’s all new to me (finding that identity). I’m like, oh my goodness so, it’s like a scary thing but, I think that I would love to get back in the business and if I were, I definitely want to kind of explore more of the character aspect of it more than announcing only.

And I think I haven’t really gotten to show that side of me yet. So, it’s kind of unknown to everyone what could be done.

Further speaking about that, she expressed that she’d 100 percent be open to coming back as a manager. There’s not anyone specifically who she’d be looking to manage. She stated that she would say The Wyatt Sicks but thinks that’s ‘a lot’ and does not want to disturb what they have going on.

Oh, 100 percent (I’d return to wrestling as a manager). I would love that. I would. I have great acting skills (she laughed). I am so good. I’m just kidding. But I really would. I really would.

Okay, actually, I really do like Rhea (Ripley) a lot (referencing comment about being close friends with Liv Morgan & her feuding with Ripley on-screen). I really do. Her WrestleMania entrance, I was like… I said, you’ll never take Windham’s spot but that was like, top, up there. There’s no one in particular that I can think of right now. I would love to say Wyatt Sicks but then at the same time, I feel like that’d be a lot and they have so much going on that I wouldn’t want to disturb that. But, I don’t know. I feel like — start a new faction. Why not? Don’t ask me who I want in it. That’ll take me some time.

A fan question was sent in to JoJo about Bray Wyatt being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2025. She is hoping that happens and says Rotunda deserves it.

Okay, good. Me too (she responded to fan question about casting their vote for Bray Wyatt to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame in 2025). Hopefully. He deserves it, for sure. He’s one of the greatest minds in the business.

In regards to Windham’s passing, she was asked if any of the McMahon family was in contact with her. She shared that Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque along with Stephanie and Vince McMahon reached out. She added that Levesque and Stephanie went above and beyond to support her.

Yes. I did (speak to the McMahons after Windham’s passing). Hunter was wonderful. Vince (McMahon) even gave me a call. But, there’s something about Stephanie McMahon’s hugs that feel like a blanket of warmth and all of them honestly. All the McMahons were great and Hunter was incredible. But, I think Stephanie really made me feel like — I don’t know. Her and Hunter really went above and beyond to help with so much so, I appreciate them for that so much.

There was a tribute show for Windham the Friday following his passing. His last match was against L.A. Knight at the Royal Rumble.

The Wyatt Sicks’ Bo Dallas had his first match since 2019. He wrestled and defeated Chad Gable on the 8/26 Monday Night Raw.
