Amale opens up about the abuse she endured.

Via her social media accounts, 12-year wrestler Amale opened up about the alleged abuse she dealt with from fellow wrestler Tristan Archer.

She included photos of herself with marks on her back, a swollen lip and two pictures of a swollen eye. She noted that their past relationship was marked by physical, emotional and psychological abuse. Amale noted that Archer threatened her family and said he’d show private photos of her to her family.

Amale noted that when she was having suicidal thoughts, Archer wanted her to do everything he asked and then she could ‘die in peace.’ She noted that she’s been living in constant fear of his threats.

There was an incident involving a friend of Amale’s when Archer allegedly hit and pushed said friend onto the road when she was defending Amale. She also added that Archer restrained her so the woman he was having an affair with could hit her.

After some time, Amale noted that things settled and Archer seemed to have regretted his actions. But he did not stop contacting her and when she would not respond, he’d ask for her whereabouts. When Amale signed on with WWE to join NXT UK, she noted that Archer was always kind to her. When they ran into one another, he allegedly asked her to not speak about him during the #SpeakingOut Movement. Amale felt at peace and did not want to cause harm. She added that his recent behavior towards her has escalated.

Amale noted that Archer has harassed her, made threats, used intimidation in addition to making racist and misogynic remarks.

After her exit from WWE, she went back to the French independent scene and even with Archer at shows, there was a good atmosphere. She claims Archer continued to watch her but she kept her distance. She began to hear about his efforts to keep her off shows and turn people against her. She remembers hearing Archer speak about how hard life was for him as a white man and that life was easier for ‘racialized women.’

After hearing that, Amale decided to break her silence. She claims Archer told her the only reason she was signed is  because she’s an ‘Arab woman’ and it ‘sells more’ in the media. Amale noted that when Archer discovered she was in a relationship, he began to stalk both her and her significant other.

She claims Archer continued speaking ill of her to promoters and it caused her to lose bookings. He would continue to harass her on the way to shows. When they were both at wXw Germany, he allegedly threatened to kick her out of the locker room and several people witnessed that exchange.

When WWE came to France for Backlash, she informed the company of what she’s been through with Archer and they decided to exclude him from being an extra as well as not being involved in future events.

She’s gone on to seek professional help from the ordeal. She claims Archer threatened to tell people the reason she was losing weight is because she did cocaine.

Amale noted that she was pressured to resolve the situation internally within the French wrestling scene, but no actions have been taken and people find excuses because it is Tristan. Amale added that legal proceedings have been initiated.
