He looked back at the way he was written off WWE TV.

Present-day, Ricochet is a member of the All Elite Wrestling roster after making his in-ring debut at All In at Wembley Stadium.

Over the summer, he wrapped up with WWE as he opted not to re-sign. Ricochet’s last moments on WWE television saw him being attacked by Bron Breakker and then taken away in an ambulance with his fiancée Samantha Irvin by his side.

He appeared on The Ringer Wrestling Show and reflected on the final stretch of his run. He mentioned the ‘little talk’ he had with Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque. Ricochet believes WWE wanted to leave his write-off open-ended.

Yeah, I think going into it, I think (I knew how my time on WWE TV would end), and even later, me and Triple H had a little talk and he was just like, ‘Anytime –’ whatever. Because I just hadn’t re-signed and it was kind of like my last time there before the time ran up. I think they knew I just wasn’t gonna do it. So, I think they were just trying to give me a good out that made me, you know… something that was open-ended. What’s gonna happen? So I think they wanted to leave it that way but I think they knew that wasn’t gonna happen.

Ricochet’s Dynamite debut saw him score a win over Kyle Fletcher. Post-match, the AEW International Champion Will Ospreay came out but before Ospreay could speak on the microphone, he was taken out by his opponent at All Out, PAC.
