As Ricochet is embarking on his run with All Elite Wrestling, he is making the media rounds and one of his stops was chatting with Shakiel Mahjouri.
He was asked about the WWE Raw segment from April 2019 when he was in the ring with Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss. During the segment, Ricochet said he was not there to talk and McIntyre immediately jumped in and said, ‘Then shut up.’ Ricochet thinks the moment was planned.
No, it was just impromptu (when Drew McIntyre told me to shut up during WWE Raw segment). I mean, I think that’s… Actually, no. I think that’s what it was planned. Because that was like 2019 or ‘20. So long ago but honestly, I think it was planned. I think it was planned, and I don’t know whose idea it was. I don’t know who — the writers back then. I didn’t even really pay attention back then. But I mean, for me, it’s whatever because again, I’m the best wrestler standing in this ring so you can go ahead and say what you want. It’s fine, because that’s how you — that’s how people like you because you say the cool stuff but when it comes to the wrestling, that’s why they like me because I’m better than all of you. So go ahead and say your cool stuff because that’s the only reason people are gonna like you. So it’s fun for me.
After Ricochet picked up his first win in AEW, International Champion Will Ospreay came out to the entrance area but before he could speak to Ricochet, he was taken out by PAC.
