Callis is a current on-screen talent in AEW, running the Don Callis Family faction. One of his understudies, Konosuke Takeshita, is also expected to appear as part of the card.
The event, which is scheduled to be the first for the legendary Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling territory since it closed in the mid-80s, is D’Amore’s first major wrestling venture since he left the TNA Wrestling team a few months back.
He has presented a talent-packed cast for the show, with other wrestlers including ROH champ Athena, Miyu Yamashita, Mike Bailey, Josh Alexander, and NJPW’s El Phantasmo.
