A new deal is in place between the two sides.
For two years, AKIRA has been working dates for Major League Wrestling. Throughout his time there, he’s held the organization’s World Middleweight and World Tag Team Championships.
AKIRA will remain with MLW for the foreseeable future, as it was reported by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp that he signed a new multi-year deal.
In August, AKIRA competed in a quarterfinal match of the Opera Cup tournament and lost to KENTA.
He was a member of The Calling faction that consisted of Rickey Shane Page, Raven and Sami Callihan among others.
The next special for MLW is Fightland on 9/14 in Atlanta, Georgia.
