Collision Continues as Rampage

Rampage technically started this week at the tail end of the main event of Collision, which featured Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Pac & Bryan Danielson taking on Jack Perry, The Young Bucks & Kazuchika Okada. Check out our Collision coverage for full recap of that match.

The Outrunners Attempt to Celebrate

After the Collision main event finally wrapped up, we went to the back where Lexi Nair interviewed The Outrunners who were celebrating their first-ever televised win earlier tonight. The celebration was cut short however by Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir who decimated the three and walked away. The way Moxley and Shafir were teased earlier in the night it seemed as though they were destined to get involved with the Collision main event but instead they took out the youngest men alive.

Queen Aminata vs. Missa Kate

Queen Aminata defeated Missa Kate with the Brain Drain in just over a minute. Serena Deeb was shown backstage watching the match, continuing their story from last week.

Daniel Garcia / MJF Video Package

A video aired showing the history between MJF and Daniel Garcia ahead of their match tomorrow night at All Out.

Hologram, Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara vs. Dark Order

The next match on Rampage was the odd pairing of Hologram with the ROH Tag Team Champions Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara taking on the Dark Order.

During the match, the Premier Athletes were shown backstage watching as Daddy Magic exclaimed “What do those perverts want?”. Hologram then hit a 450 splash for the pinfall victory.

Bang Bang Gang

Backstage, the Bang Bang Gang said that they had to string wins together to get back to the Trios titles. Austin Gunn was then complaining that he didn’t have a nickname when Cage of Agony interrupted, insulting and challenging them to a match. BBG then attempted to do their “Guns Up” chant but Cage of Agony interrupted with “Gates Open” and an accompanying hand signal.

Zero Hour Additions

Backstage, Lexi Nair announced that a Trios three way match was being added to the All Out Zero Hour with a “big money purse” for the winners. It was revealed that it would involve Top Flight & Action Andretti and Shane Taylor Promotions with Beast Mortos. Undisputed Kingdom then interrupted wondering why Beast Mortos was hanging with Shane Taylor promotions. Top Flight and Action Andretti said that it didn’t matter which side Mortos was on because they were going to take home the cash prize.

Friday Night Fashion Fight

Rampage’s main event was a Friday Night Fashion Fight between House of Black’s Brody King and Buddy Matthews taking on MxM Collection. Coming out behind MxM was what the announcers described as judges from Milan that were to judge the poses during the match. Mansoor’s first two poses were given all tens from the judges. Mansoor asked for a score after falling out of the ring only to get a few lower scores. Mansoor also found a judge score that said “you suck” and started tearing up all the scoresheets. This led Brody King to cross body Mansoor and all three judges, holding up a ten score for himself afterwards.

Madden and King then got into a “meat” battle much to the crowd’s delight.

Mansoor then hit Brody King with a chair behind the ref’s back, leading to a near fall for MxM. In the end, House of Black was victorious after hitting Mansoor with Dante’s Inferno for the win.

Will Ospreay Promo

Will Ospreay cut a backstage promo to close out Rampage.

Announced for All Out Zero Hour Tomorrow Night:

  • Top Flight & Action Andretti vs. Shane Taylor Promotions vs. Undisputed Kingdom

Final Thoughts

It was fun that the Collision main event bled into Rampage but ultimately it made the rest of Rampage feel even less relevant than usual. There was the one match added to All Out Zero Hour, but other than that we only got three matches that were all house show level. House of Black vs. MxM Collection was at least unique but HOB continues to feel like it’s languishing despite their skill set.
