AEW Women’s Champion Mariah May attacked Chicago’s Skye Blue during the All Out pre-show.
In an unannounced segment, Tony Schiavone interviewed Blue at the entranceway about the injury to her right ankle.
The injury was described as a “broken ankle” during the interview.
She said it “means the world” to be at the Now Arena in Hoffman Estates because Tony Khan had offered her a spot in the Casino Battle Royal there in 2021.
She added that she was doing everything possible to get back in action as fast as she could.
At this point, Mariah May came out and interrupted. She insulted the crowd and then the two women exchanged barbs. The segment ended with May knocking Sky to the ground and beating her down.
