AEW President Tony Khan briefly took to the media desk after Saturday night’s All Out pay-per-view.

Tony Khan did not start the media scrum until 12.38 am ET. He was introduced by Renee Paquette, who said the presser would be kept “short and sweet” before leaving. No talent joined him.

Khan started by saying that the health status of some of the talent was still being assessed. He then added that All Out was “significantly up” in terms of pay-per-view buys on the previous year.

The first question he took was about AEW’s television deal and the reported copyright request for the name ‘AEW: Shockwave’

Khan said they were “exciting” talks with Warner Bros. Discovery, which were detailed. He spoke of the relationship with WBD getting “better and better.”

He said he had not put “pen to paper” but was very appreciative of the company’s relationship with WBD, TBS and TNT. “Things are moving really well,” he added.

On the copyright question, he said that AEW was set to create a shockwave throughout professional wrestling.

Asked about the violence in certain spots during the show, Khan said the company had gotten better and better at orchestrating them. He said he did not want to go into too much detail but added the best wrestlers and coaches had worked very hard on the matches.

Asked about Britt Baker’s absence, Khan said she was a big part of All In and that it was a time of year when things would be happening at a “fast and furious” pace.

Returning to media rights, he was asked for a probability of the announcement of a deal within the next month. His response was “90%”.

He wrapped up the sub-15-minute presser by reiterating that the event was a great success.
