CM Punk commented under WWE’s Instagram post that he had an idea to run by NXT General Manager Ava. Punk is scheduled for the NXT on CW premiere show in Rosemont, Illinois. He’ll also be appearing on the 9/17 show to make an announcement regarding his appearance on the CW show.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair are coming to the NXT on CW premiere.

Before Jordynne Grace hosted her open challenge for the TNA Knockouts World Championship, she ran into Giulia backstage. Answering Grace’s open challenge was Sol Ruca. The match was thrown out when Rosemary and Wendy Choo ambushed Grace. The tease of them going after Grace first happened on the 9/5 TNA iMPACT.

Rosemary and Wendy Choo also sent a message to Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley. There is going to be a tag match between the two sides on 9/17.

Giulia was in Ava’s office and she was flanked by former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Funaki as a translator. NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez came in to confront her.

The singles match between Duke Hudson and Ridge Holland took place. Holland picked up the win and attacked Hudson post-match.

Adding on to the 9/17 match lineup are the following bouts:

  • Lola Vice vs. Jacy Jayne (w/ Fallon Henley & Jasmyn Nyx)
  • Eddy Thorpe vs. Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis
  • Cedric Alexander & Je’Von Evans vs. No Quarter Catch Crew (Tavion Heights & Myles Borne) (w/ Charlie Dempsey & Wren Sinclair)
