Bullet Club War Dogs member Jake Lee has run into an injury scare, exiting a match after seemingly getting hurt from a routine spot.

A concerning moment appeared for Lee late in a six-man tag match in Sendai on Wednesday night. Lee began clutching his right knee after getting knocked off the apron and falling to the floor, a spot which can be seen often in tag team wrestling. He remained off-camera for the remainder of the match and a brawl angle afterward featuring the five other wrestlers involved.

That evening, Tokyo Sports reported that Lee left on a stretcher due to issues with his right knee. The severity of his injury is unclear at the moment, as NJPW has yet to comment on the incident.

Lee recently joined the NJPW roster after a one-and-a-half-year run in Pro Wrestling NOAH. He appeared in the G1 Climax tournament earlier this summer, scoring four wins in Block action. He has frequently appeared as part of NJPW’s ongoing Road To Destruction tour, including numerous tag appearances alongside Gabe Kidd as the “Mad Bastards” duo.
