Sabre Jr. told SANADA, ‘Let’s do it, dickhead.’

One of the matches on the bill for NJPW’s September 11th Road to Destruction show was a tag match that saw SANADA and Taichi best Zack Sabre Jr. and Kosei Fujita.

SANADA and Taichi emerged victorious by way of SANADA pinning the G1 Climax 34 winner. Post-match, SANADA grabbed a microphone and asked for a singles match against Zack. During the G1, they clashed in SANADA’s hometown and he was on the losing end of the bout.

He proposed facing Zack in his home country of England at NJPW Royal Quest IV on October 20th. Sabre Jr. accepted the challenge.

Before going into Royal Quest, Sabre Jr. will be challenging for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at King of Pro Wrestling on October 14th.

Here’s the updated lineup for Royal Quest:

  • NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championships: T.M.D.K. (Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls) (c) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi & Tomohiro Ishii
  • Zack Sabre Jr. vs. SANADA
