It was another busy episode of AEW Rampage this week, with five matches taking place from the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. Friday’s card saw wins from Konosuke Takeshita, The Conglomeration, and Kamille, along with a backstage segment that set up a title shot for Saturday’s episode of Collision.

Here’s a quick rundown of it all:

The Conglomeration get past The Dark Order, Kamille earns third AEW victory

Kyle O’Reilly, Mark Briscoe and Orange Cassidy of The Conglomeration teamed up to face veteran AEW faction The Dark Order in the opening match of the night. The bout worked at a hectic pace for all 10 minutes it lasted, with Briscoe finally finishing the contest with a Jay Driller.

Backstage, The Undisputed Kingdom arranged a meeting with Dusty Rhodes and Sammy Guevara. After some back and forth between the teams, Matt Taven proposed that the teams collide in a “Fight Without Honor” match. Rhodes, who was fired up after Taven mentioned his family’s name, called for a Bunkhouse Brawl match at AEW’s September 21 show in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Kamille, who just debuted in AEW two months ago, made her third in-ring appearance for the promotion when she faced Robyn Renegade in a singles match. She expectedly had a quick win, finishing the match in just three minutes with her finisher, “The Truth.”

Christopher Daniels vs. Jack Perry set for Collision

After the commercial break, Christopher Daniels called for a TNT Championship match against Jack Perry on tomorrow’s episode of Collision. While he remains an interim EVP, Daniels recognizes that he is also a wrestler and believes he is up for the challenge of beating Perry. “You better pack a lunch, because I’m coming to kick your a**,” he said.

BEEF loses AEW debut to Roderick Strong

BEEF, a wrestler who was billed as the second cousin of Anthony Henry, stepped up to face Roderick Strong in a singles match next. While BEEF and Henry had teamed on ROH four times prior to this week, Friday marked his AEW debut.

BEEF was on a roll against Strong, but became distracted by a brawl outside of the ring between The Undisputed Kingdom and Henry. After taking out Matt Taven and Mike Bennett, he came back into the ring and ate a knee to the head from Strong, ending the match.

Jamie Hayter confronts Saraya after match

Harley Cameron and Saraya picked up a win in the next segment, beating Allysin Kay and Marti Belle. Cameron was on a roll in the match, but suddenly had to leave the ring after Saraya did a blind tag. Saraya got credit for the match by earning the pinfall, hitting her finisher to end the contest in three minutes.

Former champ Jamie Hayter hit the ring afterward to confront The Outcasts. Saraya left the ring, but Cameron stayed and thus ate a forearm from Hayter.

Konosuke Takeshita scores win over Action Andretti

The main event of the show saw Konosuke Takeshita take on Action Andretti. Takeshita had the advantage as the match went to a quick break, getting a near fall with a superplex.

The match remained close right down to the end, with reversals galore. Takeshita came close to a finish with a Blue Thunder Bomb, although it wasn’t enough to put away Andretti. He tried to follow up on the move but ate a hurricanrana out of the corner from Andretti right after.

Andretti came flying off the top rope, attempting to keep his momentum going. However, he was hit with a nasty forearm by Takeshita in mid-air. Takeshita could have finished the match after scoring a hard knee strike but decided to lift Andretti off the mat during a pin attempt to keep the bout going. He then closed the show with a Raging Fire, earning a win in just under 12 minutes.
