Briggs heaps praise onto the GHC Heavyweight Champion.
NXT roster members Tavion Heights and Josh Briggs went on tour with Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan for their N-1 Victory tournament.
The tournament came to a close as Kaito Kiyomiya won and became the first GHC Heavyweight Champion to emerge victorious from the tourney. Briggs faced Kiyomiya and reflected on that while appearing on ABEMA’s ‘NOAH TIME’ show. He stated that he’d love to see Kiyomiya in WWE.
He’s the GHC Heavyweight Champion for a reason. I was very impressed. Hats off to Kaito Kiyomiya and I’d love him to see him in the WWE if we get a chance.
In their matchup, Kiyomiya scored the win. Briggs finished the N-1 with a total of 10 points. He was second place in the A block behind Kiyomiya.
