The duo have put pen to paper.

In the 9/13 edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was noted that Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) are expected to debut in NXT ‘imminently.’

Following up on that, PWInsider reported that the duo have officially signed with WWE. The site corroborated the note that they are expected to debut on the NXT on CW premiere show on October 1st in Rosemont, Illinois.

Shelley and Sabin are three-time TNA/IMPACT World Tag Team Champions. They’ve held Tag Titles in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling as well.

After wrapping up with TNA Wrestling in early 2024, the duo began making the rounds on the independent scene and their most recent bout took place in August.
