HENARE vs. Shingo Takagi NEVER Title match, Gabe Kidd vs. Goto set for NJPW Destruction in Kobe

Destruction in Kobe gains two new additions.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling is in the midst of their Destruction tour and are inching towards the conclusion of it on September 29th.

There was a Road to Destruction event on 9/14 in Noboribetsu, Japan. As the show was ongoing, there were two matches setup for the Destruction in Kobe show. HENARE stated that he’ll be defending the NEVER Openweight Championship against Shingo Takagi. In addition to that, Gabe Kidd called out Hirooki Goto for a singles match at the forthcoming event.

As for the 9/14 show, it was headlined by a NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Title match and below are the results. There were a total of 1,255 people in attendance. 

  • Kazushi Sakuraba & Toru Yano def. Daiki Nagai & Masatora Yasuda
  • New Japan Ranbo: Shota Umino won by last eliminating Zack Sabre Jr.
  • Gedo, Gabe Kidd & David Finlay def. Tomohiro Ishii, Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI
  • United Empire (Jakob Austin Young, Callum Newman, HENARE, Jeff Cobb & Great-O-Khan) def. Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI, Shingo Takagi, Hiromu Takahashi, Yota Tsuji & Tetsuya Naito)
  • NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championships: Oleg Boltin, Toru Yano & Hiroshi Tanahashi (c) def. House of Torture (Dick Togo, Yujiro Takahashi & EVIL)
