After an unsatisfying result from their match this week, Bayley and Naomi will meet in a #1 contenders doubt on the next episode of Friday Night Smackdown.

Bayley and Naomi teamed against Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax this week as part of a match that was expected to determine who would challenge for the world title that Jax holds. Per the rules of the match, the wrestler who scored a pinfall would be booked to face her.

However, confusion arose after Bayley and Naomi won by concurrently pinning Jax. It was decided later in the evening by Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis that they will meet on the September 27 episode from Oklahoma City as part of a #1 contenders match.

It was also announced that a sixth meeting between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes will go down on next week’s episode of Smackdown.

Andrade scored his third win against Hayes on last week’s episode of Smackdown, earning him a shot against WWE United States Champion LA Knight.

However, after Andrade lost to Knight this week, their rivalry was reignited. Andrade became livid by comments made by Hayes backstage, including “Put the fries in the bag,” causing them to break into a brawl. They’ll try to settle their differences once again next week.

It was also announced on Friday that Chelsea Green will face Michin in a Dumpster Match as part of the October 4 Smackdown from Nashville, Tennessee.

Here’s how the Smackdown schedule looks:

9/27 Smackdown (Oklahoma City)

  • Bayley vs. Naomi (WWE Women’s Championship #1 Contenders Match)
  • Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes

10/4 Smackdown (Nashville)

  • Chelsea Green vs. Michin (Dumpster Match)
