Game Changer Wrestling has announced that Zilla Fatu will no longer be working for the promotion.

The 25-year-old, who is former WWE star Umaga’s son, and a cousin of Roman Reigns, had been billed to wrestle Matt Tremont at GCW’s Aura show in Philadelphia on Friday night.

Shortly before the show started, the promotion posted the following statement on social media:

Zilla Fatu will not be appearing on tonite’s GCW event in Philadelphia, or any GCW shows for the forseeable future. We tried our best to avoid this situation, but we have reached an impasse. We wish him the best. Matt Tremont will now face SLADE tonight at #GCWAura in Philly.

Fatu most recently performed for GCW at its Tha G-Code event on September 15th, in a win over Gringo Loco.

He first wrestled for GCW in January 2024, teaming with Jacob Fatu.

As of Saturday, Zilla Fatu had made no public comment on the situation other than the following post to X:

Trained in part by Booker T, Fatu made his public in-ring debut with Reality of Wrestling at a show on July 15, 2023.
