‘Main Event’ Jey Uso captures gold in the main event.
Headlining the 9/23 edition of Monday Night Raw was Bron Breakker putting the Intercontinental Championship on the line against Jey Uso. Uso secured the title opportunity by winning a Fatal 4-Way.
The conclusion of the title match saw Uso spear Breakker through a barricade. He sent him back into the ring and hit him with an ‘Uso Splash’ which secured a three count for the win.
With the victory, Jey secured his first singles title on the main roster.
Breakker’s Intercontinental Title reign clocked out at 52 days. Breakker had one defense of the title since winning it at SummerSlam in early August.
