After falling in defeat to Oba Femi at NXT No Mercy, Tony D’Angelo is going back after him and he’ll be getting another shot at the North American Championship at the NXT on CW show in Missouri on 10/8. Before their match, Femi and D’Angelo will be appearing on Miz TV at the NXT on CW premiere on 10/1.

The duo of Cedric Alexander and Je’Von Evans faced A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller). The reigning NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom accidentally cost Evans and Alexander the match. The champions are scheduled to defend their belts against Theory and Waller on 10/8.

In the show opener, Kelani Jordan bested Wren Sinclair to retain the Women’s North American Championship.

A video package was put together that consisted of highlights from NXT’s run on the USA Network that started in 2019.

Rosemary and Wendy Choo secured their first win as a tag team. They scored a win over Karmen Petrovic and Brinley Reece. Reece was left to fend for herself as Petrovic was distracted by Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis, who was delivering a rose to an audience member during the bout.

Ridge Holland is continuing to make his way through Chase University. He’s beaten Duke Hudson and on the 9/24 show, he defeated Riley Osborne. Holland and Osborne brawled after the match.

Joining the 10/1 match lineup is Jaida Parker and Lola Vice versus two members of Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx).

There was a singles match between Lexis King and Oro Mensah. King opted not to cheat, but Mensah went on to win the match by placing his feet on the ring ropes for leverage on his pin.
