Final NXT on the USA Network ranks third on cable in prime time

The final episode of NXT on the USA Network ranked third among cable programming in prime-time.

The September 24 episode averaged 620,000 viewers and 255,000 viewers (0.19) in the 18-49 demographic, according to Programming Insider & Wrestlenomics.

It ranked behind the WNBA playoff game between the Seattle Storm and Las Vegas Aces (988,000 viewers and 0.23 in 18-49) on ESPN and Gutfeld (2,854,000 viewers and 0.22) on Fox News.

NXT’s viewership average experienced an 8% drop while the 18-49 audience fell by 10%. It was the show’s lowest audience since August 27 and lowest demo audience since Sept. 3.

In the core demo, male viewership was down 17% averaging 168,000 viewers while females in the category grew by 8% to 94,000 viewers.

Airing at 11 p.m. ET, the show averaged 54,000 viewers and 31,000 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360 in Canada. Dana White’s Contender Series averaged 6,000 viewers and 2,000 in the demo at 8 p.m. Neither ranked in the top ten among sports programs, which the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Boston Red Sox led.
