Grand Slam edition of Dynamite ranks third on cable behind WNBA playoffs

AEW’s Grand Slam edition of Dynamite scored its largest 18-49 audience over the past five weeks while ranking behind the WNBA playoffs.

The September 25 episode from Arthur Ashe Stadium averaged 702,000 viewers and 314,000 viewers (0.23) in the 18-49 demographic – ranking third for the night behind the two WNBA playoff games, per Wrestlenomics.

The viewership average saw an increase of 2% over last week’s episode while the demo audience grew by 4% and its largest since August 21.

AEW’s big win occurred among Adults 18-34, which averaged 114,000 viewers up 25% over last week’s number and its highest since July 17.

Adults 35-49 had a 5% decrease averaging 200,000 viewers.

Its Canadian viewership was 116,100 with an average of 74,100 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2, ranking fourth for the night among sports and second in the demo behind the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Boston Red Sox.
