At the 2024 SummerSlam press conference, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque stated that the 2024 installment of the event could be the last one-night version of the show.
As officially announced by WWE, the 2025 SummerSlam will be two nights. It is taking place on August 2nd and 3rd from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. To assist with the promotional rollout, Grammy Award-winning music artist Cardi B sent out a SummerSlam hype video that featured Bianca Belair.
MetLife hosted WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
Come 2026, SummerSlam will again be a two-night event from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
