TNA’s Joe Hendry has apologized for having to pull out of a House of Glory show scheduled for Sunday.

Hendry was forced to cancel his appearance at the ‘Believe In Glory’ event in Queen’s, New York City, after Hurricane Helene forced changes in TNA’s taping schedule.

The TNA television tapings in Spartanburg, South Carolina, were due to have taken place on Friday and Saturday but have been moved to Sunday and Monday due to the severe weather affecting the southeast of the US.

House of Glory stated on social media:

Joe Hendry regrets that due to factors entirely out of his and our control caused by Hurricane Helene, we regret to inform you he will not be appearing at HOG this Sunday, September 29th. To bring our fans the best possible wrestling experience, we will announce his replacement soon and you will not be disappointed!!! We are working to secure a new date for Hendry to appear in the very near future!

The post was accompanied by a video from an apologetic Hendry who said:

You may have seen that TNA have had to reschedule their shows and that is a decision that is in the best interest of the safety of the performers, of the staff and the fans. Unfortunately, that means I now won’t be able to make House of Glory on the Sunday.

I’m very sorry to all the fans that I won’t be able to make it. It’s just one of these super unfortunate freak incidents that no one can really do anything about, so I’m very sorry for that I can’t make it this time.

I was so looking forward to it. The fan reaction video that I saw was unbelievable and the fans really remind me of when British Wrestling was just on fire and it was red-hot, and I was just so looking forward to meeting you all and seeing you all…

I know a lot of you have bought tickets and House of Glory have been selling T-shirts and things like that, so I am working with them to see if we can reschedule something so, when you say my name, I can eventually appear…

To everyone else who may be affected by the hurricanes, please stay safe and thank you, everyone, for the support.
