As Giulia and NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez were exchanging their final words before their title match at the CW premiere launch show, inserting herself into the mix via video was Stephanie Vaquer. She told Giulia and Perez to imagine having to deal with her on the other side of the title match.
Another champion on the brand that has her eyes on Vaquer is the Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan. She expressed to MuscleManMalcolm that she’d love to share the ring with Vaquer and thinks their styles would mesh well.
Oh yeah, she’s incredible (Jordan said about Stephanie Vaquer). I’ve seen her work and I would love to be able to work her. I think we would have an absolute banger match. But also, I just feel like — I’ve seen her work and I think she’s very crisp, I think she’s very aggressive and for me, I’m kind of more of like an agility, flashy and I think it would mesh well. Kind of bring me out of my comfort zone but also, maybe push her to bring her out of her comfort zone.
Vaquer made her WWE in-ring debut over the summer at a house show in Mexico City.
Jordan has five successful defenses of the Women’s North American Title under her belt. Her most recent defense was against Wren Sinclair on 9/24.
