Dragongate’s Konomama Ichikawa to retire in December 2024

The final months of Ichikawa’s in-ring career.

After 20 years of working with Dragongate Japan Pro-Wrestling, Konomama Ichikawa will be retiring from wrestling. He broke the news at the promotion’s 9/29 show at Kobe Sambo Hall.

His retirement match is scheduled to take place on December 17th at Korakuen Hall.

Ichikawa has taken on multiple aliases throughout his career and has done parodies of other talents. He’s been called Stalker Ichikawa, Jushin Thunder Ichikawa and Stan Ichikawa among other nicknames.

He started his run with Dragongate in 2004 and has wrestled for the promotion every year since then.
