STARDOM is bringing back Matsumoto.
The full cards for STARDOM’s October 2nd and 5th events have been unveiled. The promotion rolled out the news that participating at the 10/5 show in Nagoya will be Dump Matsumoto. She’ll be tagging with ZAP, Natsuko Tora, Momo Watanabe, Konami and Ruaka. They’ll be facing Maika, Mina Shirakawa, Gina, Waka Tsukiyama, HANAKO and Rian.
The 44-year veteran is still active in the ring at 63 years old. She made her debut for STARDOM in 2023 and competed in two matches for the promotion.
Matsumoto got her start in wrestling through All Japan Women’s Pro-Wrestling in the early 1980s. There’s a Netflix series centered her that released on September 19th titled ‘The Queen of Villains.’
In addition to Matsumoto, ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm will be in action at the 10/5 show as she’ll be challenging Mayu Iwatani for the IWGP Women’s Championship. Before that, on October 2nd, Storm is set to team with Mina Shirakawa and Maika versus Iwatani, Hanan and Saya Iida.
