More surprises on the way for NXT.
With NXT’s first show under The CW banner taking place on October 1st, NXT overseer Shawn Michaels is making the media rounds to promote the event.
One of Michaels’ stops was chatting with Rick Ucchino of The Takedown on Sports Illustrated. As he was speaking about the NXT women’s division, he brought up the additions of Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer. Michaels added that there are other big surprises ‘coming down the pike’ and said that goes for both sides of the talent roster.
The best stacked women’s roster in all of the world, if you ask me. Roxanne Perez, Kelani Jordan, Jaida Parker, and then of course, two of the hottest free agents in all the world with Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer. And there are other big, big surprises coming down the pike. If you thought we were stacked before, you haven’t seen anything yet. And that goes on both sides of the roster.
Stephanie Vaquer made her NXT TV debut via video on 9/24. She put Giulia and NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez on notice that she’ll be on the other side of their forthcoming title match.
