The match is on for London.

The first two matches at NJPW Destruction in Kobe were six-man tags and the first included Shota Umino and the second included Callum Newman.

Newman and Umino crossed paths backstage and Umino brought up that he’d like a rematch against Newman. They met on night one of the G1 Climax 34 and Newman scored the win.

Newman suggested the idea of their next match taking place at NJPW Royal Quest IV in London, England on October 20th. Umino accepted and it was made official. They are tied 1-1 in singles match as their first bout took place in 2021 for Revolution Pro Wrestling.

As of this writing, here’s the updated match card for Royal Quest IV:

  • NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championships: T.M.D.K. (Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls) (c) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi & Tomohiro Ishii
  • Zack Sabre Jr. vs. SANADA
  • Shota Umino vs. Callum Newman
